Remediating and future-proofing tailings storage

The Cadia Integrated Tailings Project addresses the remediation of the 2018 Northern Tailings Storage Facility failure and aims to future-proof the Southern Tailings Storage Facility. The project includes buttressing, remediation, and embankment works to ensure future storage capacity.

Haul roads are also being constructed as part of the capital works program to ensure future access to areas of the mine.
