A clean energy link between Tasmania and Victoria

Marinus Link is a nationally significant undersea and underground electricity and data interconnector between Tasmania and Victoria, combining Victoria's wind and solar with Tasmania's hydropower and wind to strengthen the National Electricity Market.

Stage 1 delivers a 750MW capacity link, with approximately 90 kilometres of underground HVDC land cable installed, jointed and terminated across North West Tasmania and Gippsland, Victoria, alongside new converter stations.

Pivot Engineers supported the early works and site investigations in the Gippsland area, ahead of combined services trench installation along the land cable route.
