New traffic lights with dedicated pedestrian crossings and additional street lights have also been installed to enhance safety and visibility. As part of the upgrade, dedicated right turn lanes, slip lanes and through lanes have been built at McMahons Road and Clyde Street.

A dedicated left turn lane from Burwood Highway into Clyde Street has also been created, improving access to nearby businesses. These changes are designed to reduce the risk of crashes and make it safer and easier for all road users to navigate the intersection.
